Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle DBA with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) and Oracle Cloud@Customer infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead database administration, platform configuration, migrations, performance optimization, high availability, disaster recovery (DR), and operational support initiatives for mission-critical Oracle environments.
This role requires deep experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise Oracle database environments including Exadata infrastructure, Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, backup/recovery, and cloud-integrated architectures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oracle ExaCC / Cloud@Customer Administration
  • Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) environments.
  • Manage Oracle Cloud@Customer infrastructure, compute, storage, networking, and database services.
  • Perform system provisioning, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, security, and Oracle support teams.

Database Administration
  • Administer Oracle databases across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
  • Configure and manage:
  • Oracle RAC
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • Oracle Data Guard
  • RMAN backup and recovery
  • Goldengate (preferred)
  • Monitor database health, performance, storage utilization, and availability.
  • Troubleshoot complex database, cluster, and infrastructure issues.
Migration & Modernization
  • Lead Oracle database migration projects from on premises to ExaCC/Cloud@Customer environments.
  • Perform: Data migration
  • Platform migration
  • Database consolidation
  • Cross-version upgrades
  • Minimal-downtime migration strategies
  • Validate post-migration performance and stability.
Disaster Recovery & High Availability
  • Design and implement DR architecture using Oracle Data Guard and related technologies.
  • Set up and validate DR sites for ExaCC and Oracle Cloud@Customer environments.
  • Conduct DR drills, failover/failback testing, and business continuity exercises.
  • Ensure HA/DR compliance with RTO/RPO objectives.
