Job description

Underground Printing (UGP's) Mission Statement is to help bring customer communities to life through custom branded apparel & merchandise.

We produce all of our printed apparel in our production facility in Michigan & with 173,000 SF of screen printing and embroidery production and over 250+ employees. We consistently rank in the top 10 largest screen printers by volume in the U.S. and are one of the fastest growing online clothing retailers.
We serve both B2C and B2B customers such as non profits, retailers, and Universities through our 22 store and office locations across the United States. Additionally we help brands and licensors sell online both through company branded and marketplace websites.
We're looking for a highly motivated, self-driven individual to train as a press operator at our Ypsilanti production facility and warehouse!
We work in a fast paced environment that requires attention to detail and quick thinking.
This position starts at up to $16 an hour based on experience with the opportunity for advancement every 6 months. We provide on the job, paid training!
As a Screenprinting Press Operator, additional responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Preparing each job in accordance with a job order or verbal or written instructions for screen printing production.
  • Maintain and ensure press equipment is clean and in proper operating condition daily.
  • Work with the production manager to ensure all orders are completed as scheduled and are upheld to production standards.

Second shift runs 7a to 3p Monday - Friday. Optional overtime opportunities are also available!
