Responsibilities

  • Ability to understand plans and grade stakes to complete tasks per specification
  • Train other in pipe laying and Grade Checking
  • Guide excavator operator with Grade and Safety
  • Operate a variety of equipment, vehicles and hand and power tools
  • Able to pre-plan

 

Requirements

  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to check slopes and grades using lasers, levels, and GPS
  • Able to locate existing utilities using vac trailer and shovels
  • Ability to follow procedures and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to make decisions and problem solve
