  • Gather and validate requirements from federal stakeholders, product owners, vendors, subject matter experts, and delivery teams.
  • Evaluate data quality, lineage, system-of-record considerations, synchronization needs, and integration impacts.
  • Support conceptual and logical data modeling by identifying entities, relationships, attributes, business rules, and data domains.
  • Translate complex technical and business information into clear documentation, visuals, presentations, and decision-support materials.
  • Support architecture reviews, design discussions, trade-off analysis, release readiness, and dependency management.
  • Collaborate with engineering, testing, DevSecOps, security, data, architecture, and vendor teams.
  • Analyze APIs, data exchange patterns, workflow automation, interoperability, and legacy-system integration.
  • Identify and communicate risks, gaps, assumptions, inconsistencies, and dependencies.
  • Maintain organized analysis, traceability, and project documentation.

What You'll Need
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Federal/DoD Public Trust. Active Public Trust or suitability is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, systems analysis, requirements, reporting, data governance, systems integration, or a related field.
  • Experience with data structures, data models, business processes, system interfaces, reporting requirements, data quality, or workflow analysis.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, requirements traceability, and data analysis practices.
  • Ability to gather, validate, analyze, and document information from multiple sources.
  • Experience creating analysis artifacts such as data mappings, process flows, data models, requirements summaries, gap analyses, and dependency trackers.
  • Familiarity with APIs, relational databases, data lineage, system-of-record concepts, data exchange, and legacy/modern system integration.
  • Strong communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and collaboration/documentation tools.
  • Ability to explain complex analysis clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting federal/government IT or legacy modernization programs.
  • Background in solution, enterprise, or data architecture; application modernization; or systems integration.
  • Familiarity with AWS data architectures and cloud security, including IAM, KMS, encryption, data lifecycle, and governance.
  • Experience with SQL, data profiling, Power BI, Tableau, dashboards, or data visualization.
  • Familiarity with API documentation, canonical data models, ERDs, data dictionaries, data catalogs, or metadata management.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or SharePoint.
  • Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Scrum/SAFe, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Power BI Data Analyst.
