Commitment: Volunteer | ~10 hours per week | Minimum 1-year commitment

With over 10 years of content writing experience, you will lead the creation of compelling, mission-driven content that deepens community engagement and inspires action. This senior role is ideal for a seasoned writer who believes in the power of words to create change and wants to use their talents to support critically and chronically ill children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Content Strategy: Shape and guide the organization's content direction, ensuring it supports our goals and resonates with our community.
  • Content Creation: Craft original, high-quality blog posts that spotlight our mission, showcase dream stories, address relevant social topics, and promote upcoming events and campaigns.
  • Email Marketing: Write impactful email newsletters and communications that update our audience, highlight successes, and drive engagement and donations.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, fundraising, and programming teams to align messaging across platforms and contribute to broader campaign efforts.
