Key responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily operations of the meat processing plant to ensure policies and procedures are followed.

  • Maintain and run the smokehouse, including hanging and smoking bacon, and monitoring temperatures and times.

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, operating pallet jacks, managing freezer inventory, ensuring product label accuracy, communicating with cleaners and team members, and closing the warehouse.

President of the company, Jake Sailer, is a 5th-generation butcher and a Master Meat Cutter who has been servicing Elmwood, Wisconsin, and the surrounding communities since 1923. Recently, we have launched our branded snack sticks and are a growing company.
