ISO 9001 Lead Auditor / Client Manager
Independent Contractor | United States | Up to 100% Travel
Are you a fully qualified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor who enjoys life on the road and helping organizations achieve operational excellence?
We're seeking experienced Independent Contractor ISO 9001 Lead Auditors to partner with clients across the United States, conducting third-party management system assessments and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Candidates may be based anywhere in the U.S.; however, preference will be given to professionals located in Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, Michigan, and the New Jersey region.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced auditor who is already fully qualified, enjoys frequent travel, and can independently manage client assessments from planning through reporting.
What You'll Do:
  • Conduct third-party assessments against ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
  • Evaluate client management systems and identify opportunities for continual improvement
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and professional audit reports
  • Recommend certification decisions in accordance with established requirements
  • Manage assigned client relationships and deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Plan assessment schedules, coordinate travel, and manage your own workload
  • Lead audit teams and mentor fellow auditors when appropriate

What You'll Bring:
  • Current qualification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (required)
  • Demonstrated experience independently conducting third-party ISO 9001 audits
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and auditing principles
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills

  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, travel-intensive environment
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively
