We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team and support our mission of excellence in implant and general dentistry.


4M Dental Implant Center is expanding! We’re excited to announce that our new, state-of-the-art practice in Sacramento will be opening this April, bringing exceptional, life-changing dental implant care to patients in a modern, comfortable environment.


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to oversee and support the clinical team in delivering outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, organized, and experienced in surgical and prosthetic implant procedures. This leadership role will involve mentoring RDAs, managing clinical workflows, and ensuring compliance with dental regulations and protocols.


Requirements

  • Assist the doctor during a wide variety of procedures including full-mouth implant surgeries, restorations, and follow-ups.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the dental assistant team to uphold clinical standards and deliver efficient, high-quality care.
  • Prepare and maintain operatories and equipment, ensuring OSHA and infection control compliance.
  • Take digital radiographs, impressions, intraoral scans, and assist with sedation cases as needed.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of clinical supplies and materials.
  • Coordinate with front office, lab, and surgical teams to streamline patient care and case flow.
  • Support post-op patient education and instructions with empathy and attention to detail.
  • Assist in onboarding and training of new RDAs and clinical staff.
  • Promote a positive and professional environment, leading by example in patient care, punctuality, and teamwork.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Active California RDA license
  • 3+ years of dental assisting experience, preferably with surgical/implant procedures
  • CPR/BLS certification required
  • Nitrous oxide monitoring certification (preferred)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and sterilization protocols
  • Experience with digital dental technologies (iTero, CBCT, Eaglesoft/Dentrix/Carestack) is a plus
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
