Job Title: Museum Experiences Team Member
Department: Education
The Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust amp; Humanity Center (HHC) is a world class museum and educational organization dedicated to ensuring the lessons of the Holocaust inspire action today. We are seeking a part-time. Museum Experiences Team Members to join our dedicated team of educators and be an ambassador of our mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a lead ambassador of HHC to all guests, exemplifying and embodying the spirit of our mission, being a role model of kindness and hope.
  • Maximize the visitor experience as their first point of contact.
  • Elevate HHC’s museum experience through interpreting and highlighting the museum’s lobby, artifacts, and exhibits.
  • Lead engaging museum tour experiences for students and community groups within HHC’s established framework of tour offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with the education team on special projects.
  • Communicate and promote museum programming and initiatives to visitors.
  • Manage point of sale software to sell tickets to visitors.
  • Manage technology and operations in the museum to problem solve and ensure everything is working correctly.
  • Daily cleaning and maintenance of museum to ensure optimum guest experiences.
  • Observe and capture visitor flow and interactions with exhibits.
  • Capture visitor feedback through on-site surveying.
  • Create and generate reports on attendance and visitor experiences.
  • Maintain relationship with public safety, guest services, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of emergency amp; evacuation procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Experience amp; Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but relevant experience and customer service skills to be strongly considered.
  • Predominantly weekends with additional hours on evenings and at special events. Hours may vary between peak and non-peak tour season.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service amp; guest services preferred.
  • Public speaking, performing arts/theater, or tour experience (a storyteller).
  • A friendly, organized multi-tasker who is self-motivated and adaptable, able to handle logistics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communication skills.
  • Team player who can also work independently.
  • Experience with point-of-sale software.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of individuals.
  • Familiar with ADA compliance and best practices for guest experiences.
  • Passion for Holocaust and humanity education.
Compensation:
$15/hour for weekday shifts. $18/hour for weekends. Up to 25 hours per week.
