• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ emotional needs and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating recovery and well-being.
• Implement evidence-based interventions grounded in solution-focused psychotherapeutic methodologies to enhance the health and wellness of clients.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards and privacy laws.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care, ensuring that each client receives holistic support during their recovery journey.
• Educate and empower clients and their families about mental health practices, coping strategies, and community resources to reinforce their treatment plans.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health and addiction treatment, incorporating new techniques and methodologies into practice as appropriate.

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals recovering from substance use disorders in a detox center setting. Many clients face co-occurring mental health issues, requiring your expertise to navigate their complex needs. You will empower clients to engage in their recovery actively and provide them with the tools necessary to manage their mental health effectively.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Georgia is essential.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical setting, preferably with knowledge of addiction treatment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect empathetically with clients and their families.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with critical thinking skills to navigate complex situations.
• A collaborative spirit, thriving within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience working in substance use disorder treatment facilities.
• Previous exposure to trauma-informed care practices.
• Competence in using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation.
• Ability to engage and advocate for vulnerable populations.
