Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW-C, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities aimed at improving the quality of life for our patients. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand the psychosocial needs of patients and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Implementing evidence-based, solution-focused therapeutic interventions to address the specific challenges faced by patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients in a hospice setting, a unique population requiring sensitivity and compassion. These individuals often face significant emotional and psychological challenges related to their end-of-life journeys. Your expertise in solution-based psychotherapy will be invaluable as you help them and their families navigate through these difficult times, enhancing their overall experience and providing critical support.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW-C license in the state of Maryland.
• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy methodologies and frameworks.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health or hospice care setting. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and understanding of hospice regulations and guidelines are preferred but not mandatory. A background in palliative care will be an added advantage as you will be working within a specialized context.
