Intel Technology Development Materials Analysis Lab is seeking self-motivated Lab Analyst to conduct sample analyses in support of incoming materials related issues and materials characterization using advanced analytical chemistry techniques, including ICPMS, LCMS, IC, Assay and GCMS et al.
This job responsibilities include sample preparation and analysis in compliance with standard procedures, prioritization of sample queue based on customer and factory need, maintenance of laboratory and equipment. Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills are required.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Sample preparation, safe handling and mixing of chemicals, lab analysis and measurements, data collection, analysis and summarization, presentation of lab reports,
  • Maintenance of lab analytical tools (scheduled and unscheduled maintenance), installation and qualification of lab equipment
  • Responsibility for accuracy of analytical data and precision of analytical tools.
  • Safety initiatives, quality systems compliance/maintenance, lab equipment availability and timely delivery of analytical results.
  • Lab sustaining and development, process transfer, tool ownership, BKM development, and cross training on other techniques.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
  • Be able to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to fast-changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Is willing to successfully work as a team with peers, engineers and other analytical lab groups.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of chemicals including acids, bases, oxidizers, solvents, etc.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment for several hours each day
  • Ability to work standing (e.g. at fume hoods or chemical wet stations) for several hours each day.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:
We offer a compressed work week schedule where we work four days on with three days off one week. The next week we work three days on and four days off.
Shift 7: (days frontend) AM-PM Wednesday or Thursday to Saturday in alternating weeks.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or STEM related to Semi. Mfg. (MET)/BS STEM (operator) AND 2+ years maintenance/chemical handling experience -OR- Associate degree STEM related to Semi. Mfg. (MET)/STEM (operator) AND 4+ years maintenance/chemical handling experience

Preferred qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing facility or lab facility.
  • 1+ years of experience with ICPMS, Assay (titration or densitometry), GCMS, Ion Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography highly desired.
  • Familiarity with laboratory scales and pipetting techniques

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $63,090.00-89,060.00 USD (Hourly Role)
