The ideal candidate will drive employer-side compliance, transactional diligence, and dispute resolution while expanding deep corporate client relationships.

  • Agreement Drafting: Author and negotiate complex employment agreements, separation packages, trade secret protections, and non-competition/non-solicitation covenants.
  • Dispute Resolution: Oversee administrative proceedings and employment litigation before the EEOC, DOL, OSHA, state/federal courts, and FINRA arbitrations.
  • Practice Expansion: Leverage a supportive cross-referral platform to expand client relationships across key sectors like technology, healthcare, life sciences, and financial services.

  • Portable Practice: A reasonable, portable book of business or a demonstrable track record of sustainable client development.
  • Jurisdiction: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; active license in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar (or immediate eligibility to waive in).
  • Core Competencies: Comprehensive mastery of multi-state employment counseling, transactional risk management, and administrative defense.
