Some roles also involve assisting with farm tours or events, especially during peak blooming seasons. These jobs can be seasonal or year-round, depending on the farm’s focus and location.

What does a typical workday look like on a lavender farm?

A typical day on a lavender farm often starts early and involves hands-on tasks such as planting, weeding, pruning, irrigating, and monitoring crop health. Seasonal activities include harvesting lavender, processing flowers for drying or oil extraction, and preparing products for sale. Teamwork is common, especially during peak harvest times, while some tasks may require working independently. The role can be physically demanding and is largely outdoors, but it provides opportunities to learn about sustainable agriculture, work closely with nature, and potentially take on increased responsibilities as you gain experience.
