Job Overview


The Logistics team at Lavazza North America supports supply chain execution and customer service excellence by managing the flow of goods across inbound, outbound, and fulfillment operations. The team partners closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, Lavazza Headquarters, demand and supply planning, customer service, and commercial teams to maintain inventory availability, improve stock alignment, and support efficient order fulfillment. Through data-driven reporting, process improvement, and proactive risk identification, the team helps optimize service, cost, and quality while enabling continued growth across eCommerce and other business channels. 


The Logistics Specialist - Warehousing supports the Supply Chain and Logistics department by coordinating inventory control, warehouse operations, distribution, quality, and stock alignment across Lavazza North America’s network. The role maintains daily alignment between warehouse management systems (WMS) and SAP, resolves electronic data interchange (EDI) issues with 3PL providers, executes inventory adjustments, supports physical inventories, monitors stock rotation, and reviews warehouse costs. The position supports Retail, Foodservice, Office Coffee Service (OCS), and eCommerce operations across Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Japan.

Work model: Hybrid

Travel: Up to 30% to 3PL sites, including some weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile inventory across all distribution warehouses, ensuring daily stock alignment between WMS and SAP.
  • Monitor daily interfaces between 3PL providers and Lavazza and resolve EDI intermediate document (IDoc) errors.
  • Execute daily stock adjustments across all warehouses and maintain supporting records.
  • Share stock-keeping unit (SKU) master data and bills of materials (BOMs) with 3PL providers to support EDI integration.
  • Maintain green coffee warehouse stock reports and coordinate stock management and stock counts.
  • Plan and execute biannual physical inventories at warehouses and reconcile physical counts to book inventory.
  • Monitor stock rotation and report expired, expiring, or blocked inventory to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Review and validate invoices and costs from 3PL providers and the green coffee warehouse.
  • Coordinate pallet supply and required pallet declarations.

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
  • Experience reconciling warehouse inventory and investigating differences between physical and system stock.
  • Experience coordinating with 3PL providers or other external warehouse partners.
  • Experience using inventory metrics and reports to identify variances, aging stock, or process issues.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and EDI; SAP experience strongly preferred.
