Job description

LEBANON SOUTH NURSING & REHAB, located in Lebanon, Missouri is currently seeking a laundry aide to join our team.

Laundry Aide Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform general laundry tasks, such as washing, drying, and folding laundry
  • Wash, dry, fold, iron, and store all facility laundry
  • Wash, dry, fold, and distribute all residents’ personal clothing
  • Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions, spills, baskets, supplies, equipment, etc
  • Discard waste and trash into proper containers and re-line receptacles with plastic liners
  • Assure that work assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc are properly stored during work periods, as well as before leaving the area for breaks, meals, and end of workday
  • Clean laundry equipment, carts, etc

Laundry Aide Qualifications and Skills:

  • It is preferred that the Laundry Aide will have a minimum of a high school diploma or completed a GED program
