Job description

Schedule to include shifts from 1:30p-9:30p for laundry (2-3 days per week) & 7a-3p for housekeeping (1 day per week)
Essential Job Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential

โ€ข Perform day-to-day housekeeping/laundry functions as assigned.
โ€ข Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
โ€ข Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident and
recreational areas, etc., as instructed.
โ€ข Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathroom fixtures. Ensure that water marks are
removed from fixtures.
โ€ข Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and
entrance/exit ways.
โ€ข Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing,
disinfecting, etc.
โ€ข Ensure that appropriate caution/safety signs are properly set up prior to performing such
duties.
โ€ข Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
โ€ข Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting,
deodorizing, etc.
โ€ข Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting
solutions.
โ€ข Clean hallways, stairways, and elevators.
โ€ข Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.
โ€ข Clean vacant rooms as assigned.
โ€ข Ensure that areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at
all times.
โ€ข Discard infectious wastes into appropriate containers.
โ€ข Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.
โ€ข Assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
