Job description

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
POSITION: Maintenance Technician (Levels I amp; III)
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing laundry production and building equipment. This role includes performing preventative maintenance, equipment installation, and other assigned duties to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Level I technicians perform skilled maintenance tasks under moderate supervision.
Level III technicians are the most experienced, with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues, mentor others, and handle advanced technical repairs with minimal supervision.

DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and production equipment
  • Install new equipment and systems as needed
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance procedures
  • Handle and work safely with chemicals as required
  • Ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Work from ladders, man lifts, and elevated platforms as required
  • Complete work orders in a safe, timely, and efficient manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager

SCHEDULE amp; COMPENSATION
  • Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Second Shift)
  • Occasional Saturdays as required
  • Pay commensurate with skill level
