Job description

We are Regency Care of Rogue Valley, a skilled nursing community providing quality care to the residents we serve, located in Grants Pass, OR. We are looking for caring & compassionate resident minded individuals to join our team.
Part-Time / Weekend
As a Laundry Aide, you will assist in all aspects of laundering resident clothing and facility linens.
You will:
  • Fold and distribute clean linens
  • Clean dryer lint screens
  • Inspect mechanical lift slings and sling straps for fraying and wear
  • Keep residents' closet/drawers orderly
  • Minimize infections by following aseptic techniques, including blood-borne pathogens
  • Relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees
  • Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents

You Currently:
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population
  • Can work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
