Responsibilities for Laundry Aide:

  • Collect resident laundry from rooms in a timely and respectful manner.

  • Wash, dry, and properly care for resident clothing and facility linens according to established procedures.

  • Fold, sort, and return clean laundry to residents, ensuring items are delivered accurately and neatly.

  • Maintain organized laundry areas and ensure equipment is used safely and properly.

  • Assist with non-clinical support tasks as needed to support overall facility operations.

  • Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

  • Report any issues with damaged or missing items to the appropriate staff.

Qualifications for Laundry Aide:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Prior experience as a Laundry Aide or in a housekeeping role preferred.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
