Launchpad Labor & HCM is seeking a Product Designer to help shape intuitive, customer-focused experiences that support business growth.

Position Summary

The Product Designer will design end-to-end product experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with user needs and business goals. This role partners closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate research and strategy into clear designs and practical implementations.

You’ll contribute to the product design lifecycle—from discovery and concepting to prototyping, usability testing, and design refinement—ensuring the final experience is cohesive across features and touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own product design workstreams, from early discovery and user insights to final design delivery.

  • Create wireframes, UI concepts, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate interaction and visual direction.

  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs are implementable and maintain design integrity across releases.

  • Conduct or support usability testing and incorporate feedback to improve product usability and clarity.

  • Maintain organized design documentation and ensure consistency across product experiences.

Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience designing user-focused product interfaces for web or software platforms.

  • Strong visual design skills and the ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear design solutions.

  • Proficiency in creating prototypes and iterating based on user feedback and stakeholder input.

  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to deliver usable outcomes.

  • A portfolio showcasing product design work, including problem framing, design process, and results.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with design systems and experience contributing to consistent, scalable UI components.

  • Experience conducting user research activities such as interviews, usability testing, or concept evaluation.

  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and inclusive design principles.

  • Comfort working in an agile environment with iterative releases and changing priorities.

Compensation

Annual salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00
