Summary:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and client-focused Sales Freight Forwarding Specialist with expertise in developing and executing sales strategies and expanding our customer base in the region. In this role, you will have a successful track record dealing with exports, especially in the Latin America markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with VP of the area in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in Latin America by assisting in market research, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • Exports order processing. Process orders, coordinate shipping & handling and prepare paperwork, and follow up with freight forwarders on shipments and deliveries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and distributors in the region.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, and other internal teams to drive product awareness and launch activities.
  • Assist in analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Assist in preparing regular sales reports, forecasts, and strategic plans for the Area.
  • Participation in regional trade events for the region, as needed.
  • Support the Finance team in collecting payments from clients and assist in account-specific expenditures tracking processes.
  • Support and collect information for the duty drawback processes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English language skills at either B2 or C1 level is required
  • English Resume is required
  • 3+ years of proven export management and sales, especially in Latin America markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, marketing, or related field.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English โ€“ spoken and written.
  • Deep understanding of the cultural, economic, and regulatory landscape in Latin America
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing tasks in a customer-focused, changeable business environment.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Travel Retail and Logistics is highly desirable.
