The last mile manager will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with construction managers, acting as a key advisor to logistics team members from the construction manager's perspective, and overseeing special projects as assigned. This position will ensure seamless communication across the supply chain, enforce KPIs with partners, and identify contingency plans for logistics operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage relationships with construction managers to ensure alignment of logistics operations with construction timelines and requirements.
- Collaborate with Logistics Manager to develop and evaluate on-site storage solutions.
- Develop and implement process maps, training, and communications for KHDS logistics changes that impact construction managers.
- Advise and collaborate with other logistics team members to integrate construction manager perspectives into logistics planning and execution.
- Visit warehouses and liaise with their team to solve logistical challenges.
- Complete additional special projects as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BA/BS degree in relevant area (production/manufacturing, logistics preferred). Minimum of 3+ years of experience in logistics management. Minimum of 3+ years of experience working as a construction manager. Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.
* Ability to travel ~30% of the time to various cities across the United States.
