Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laser Welder to join our manufacturing team in Faribault, MN. In this role, you will perform hand laser welding on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless-steel components while ensuring all work meets engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, producing high-quality welds, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hand laser welding on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless-steel components.
  • Prepare materials, set up welding equipment, and inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings.
  • Monitor production, complete required documentation, and record production data accurately.
  • Maintain welding equipment and follow preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and standard operating procedures while supporting production goals.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of a welding program or equivalent hands-on welding experience preferred.
  • Experience with hand laser welding or similar precision welding processes.
  • Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings.
  • Basic computer and math skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.

  • PPE required (eye, hand, hearing, and safety footwear)
