Job description

Join a growing manufacturing company in Tualatin as a Laser Operator.  

This is a full-time, temp to hire role with a leading manufacturer who makes custom parts for the semiconductor industry.  They are one of only a handful of companies in the world who make what they do.  They are experiencing growth and looking to add a qualified Laser Operator to their team.  They also have training and career development opportunities-they love to promote from within!

In this role, you will be setting up and operating the CNC laser cutting equipment.  You will be verifying quality throughout the process and making adjustments as needed.  

Laser Operator Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines
  • Load/unload materials and finished parts
  • Make machine adjustments as needed
  • Ensure quality of parts meet customer specifications
Laser Operator Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years recent laser operator experience
  • Experience inspecting parts and using measuring tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs with/without accommodation
  • Steel-toe shoes required
