Farwest Steel's Operations Department seeks a knowledgeable and dependable individual to join their team as Equipment Operator 3. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating machinery to ensure high-quality part production while meeting customer expectations. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and performing maintenance to maximize uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate press brake machinery with precision to meet production goals.
  2. Ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met for each order.
  3. Verify job priority, material selection, and machine settings for optimal performance.
  4. Make necessary adjustments, including program edits, to improve efficiency and quality.
  5. Conduct first-part inspections to ensure specified tolerances and dimensional accuracy.
  6. Perform regular predictive maintenance to maintain equipment efficiency and uptime.
  7. Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  8. Assist in other warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • one (1) year of Press Brake Experience
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret production orders and technical documents.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
