Job Description

This role focuses on operating a Maztec CNC laser machine to cut sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. You will work hands-on in a fabrication environment, loading materials, running laser cutting programs, and producing high-quality parts according to specifications.

Pay: $22/hr - $25/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Maztec CNC laser machine to cut sheet metal components accurately and safely.
  • Load sheet metal onto the laser machine, ensuring proper placement, alignment, and secure handling.
  • Cut side panels and other sheet metal parts according to work orders, drawings, and production requirements.
  • Laser out parts to meet precise dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
  • Monitor machine operation, adjust settings as needed, and respond promptly to alarms or issues.
  • Perform basic machine checks and routine cleaning to support reliable operation.
  • Collaborate with the fabrication team, including press brake and CNC operations, to support smooth production flow.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment while operating machinery.
  • Inspect finished parts visually and dimensionally to confirm they meet quality expectations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
