Brick City Metals is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team and keep our production floor running safely and efficiently. You will set up and operate machinery, load and unload materials with overhead cranes, and inspect output to ensure it meets quality standards. Experience running a Kinetic plate processor of Peddinghaus drill line is a plus.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:

· Set up, operate and adjust machinery/equipment according to production schedules

· Monitor machine performance during operation and adjust as needed

· Load raw materials and unload finished products using overhead cranes

· Inspect output to ensure it meets quality standards; identify and report defects

· Perform routine machine maintenance and minor troubleshooting

· Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

· Report equipment malfunctions to maintenance/supervisor promptly

· Follow standard operating procedures for each machine

· Experience in running Kinetic plate processor or Peddinghaus drill line as well as the laser table and tube laser machines


THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent

· Prior experience operation industrial machinery

· Ability to read and interpret work orders or production specs

· Ability to read a tape measure and complete basic math equations

· Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

· Ability to stand, bend lift for entire shift repeatedly

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted

· Local to Ocala, FL area
