Laser Operator – 2nd Shift (Temporary Through August)

Position Overview

We are a family-owned manufacturing company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our team on 2nd shift. This temporary position will run through August and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment while contributing to a company that values teamwork, quality, and employee involvement.

Schedule

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Includes a $2.00 per hour shift differential

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor laser cutting equipment to produce quality parts according to specifications.
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules.
  • Perform routine machine inspections and basic maintenance.
  • Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate production records.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates.
