Job description

Job Location: This position will be located at 815 Olive Street St. Louis, MO 63101.

The Bureau of Special Health Care Needs (SHCN) is looking for a motivated customer service focused individual to fulfill the role of a Lead Administrative Support Assistant (LASA). Located in St. Louis, this position will serve as a Medically Complex Children and Youth (MCCY) and Medically Complex Adult Waiver (MCAW) East Region LASA.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
  • Support leadership and team members with administrative support functions
  • Lead office operations
  • Manage inventory and equipment
  • Answer and lead phone interviews to gather pertinent information
  • Review, monitor and complete data entry in various IT systems
  • Work collaboratively within an inter-disciplinary team
  • Provide objective and accurate documentation
  • Represent the program with exemplary customer service
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed)
  • This position must demonstrate respect, understanding, and effective interaction with diverse populations.
  • Successful candidates must be able to work independently, anticipate priorities, and demonstrate superior initative.
  • Work as part of a team with other staff in the department.
