ABOUT US: Ascensus Global, Inc. (formerly MultiLingual Solutions, Inc.) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with more than 21 years of successful experience providing professional language services, foreign language and cultural training, and analysis support to a broad client base consisting of more than 40 U.S. military and intelligence customers, as well as over 2,000 civilian government, commercial and non-profit organizations in various fields. With ISO 9001:2015 and 17100:2015 certifications, AGI provides services in more than 100 languages, employing innovative technologies and methodologies and applying best practices from both the Government and commercial arenas to advance each customer's unique communication and operational objectives throughout the U.S. and across the globe.


POSITION SUMMARY: AGI is seeking Indonesian Language Instructors to work with a diverse team of linguists, intelligence analysts, and collection specialists focusing on materials of a scientific nature.

Requirements


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interact with a wide variety of Government and contractor personnel in a diverse, evolving, high-profile environment.
  • Work under the direction of experienced senior trained instructors.
  • Must work 40 hours a week spending approximately 20 hours of teaching and 20 hours of lesson development, student assessment, and testing.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with polygraph is required. However, candidates with any level of clearance, including those with no clearance but who are deemed eligible, may be considered.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Ability to score ILR Level 5 in Speaking/Listening/Reading.
  • Ability to score ILR Level 3 or higher on a translation assessment.
  • Minimum five (5) years of professional experience providing language instruction to adult students.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the respective area's history, culture, politics, and economy, as well as working knowledge of foreign language learning technology and teaching methods.
  • Possess experience in content management, editing, quality control, writing reports, course design, and summarizing/gisting.
  • Ability to complete specific sponsor training on teaching mission-focused foreign language skills and conducting foreign language testing to become certified according to Sponsor standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior Language training and experience working with the US Government.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • 40-hour work week.
  • The position requires interaction with a wide variety of Government and contractor personnel in a diverse, evolving, high-profile environment with limited supervision.

PAY RANGE:

Pay Range: $110,000 - $200,000 a year

Ascensus Global (AGI) pay range and level are general guidelines for this job. Several factors, including education, geographic location, contract labor categories, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, or market data, determine the final salary.
