Job Description:
Summary
Develops and implements new processes and manages Logistics projects to completion. Provides
direction and leads projects to enable the achievement of business goals. Responsible for gathering
project and customer requirements. Manages communication with Sales, Account Managers, Operations
Managers, Senior Management, and customers, acting as the primary point of contact. Responsible for
supporting a wide range of strategic projects that span multiple facets of the enterprise.
Essential Functions

โ€ข Develops project plans and establishes clear project goals and ensures attainment.
โ€ข Leads multiple projects concurrently.
โ€ข Manages communication flow interdepartmentally, with peers, with senior management.
Facilitates process improvement, including workflow, systems, and physical infrastructure.
โ€ข Works cross-functionally to generate new concepts and to increase idea development. Effectively
works across functions to ensure project deliverables are met.
โ€ข Determines requirements for project team resources and recommends personnel.
โ€ข Seeks cost saving opportunities, and controls project costs to budget.
โ€ข Creates standard operating procedures (SOPs).
โ€ข Utilizes project management tools to document timelines, progress, and risks.
โ€ข Defines project budgets and timelines and ensures completion of initiatives within agreed upon
budgets and timeframes.
โ€ข Presents new concepts to Senior Management.
โ€ข Establishes relationships with customers; works with customers to understand their needs and
communicates these needs to pertinent departments. Interfaces with teams to develop,
implement and track customer solutions.
โ€ข Facilitates regular task team review meetings with the Steering Committee.
โ€ข Makes recommendations for operating procedures, staffing, IT set-up and other applicable areas
where general expertise is exhibited.
โ€ข Provides on-site support and guidance for project start-up.
โ€ข Stays current with technology and trends in the industry.
โ€ข Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
โ€ข Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety
regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their
understanding and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of Operations or Logistics experience reflecting increasing levels
of responsibility; OR High-school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 10 years of
Operations or Logistics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
โ€ข Exposure to general warehousing practices.
โ€ข Required to travel by air and car up to 20% during the course of business.
โ€ข Candidates for this position must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Required
to obtain a California driver's license or appropriate state driver's license within 30 days of hire.
โ€ข Strong oral and written communication skills.
โ€ข Experience effectively presenting information to senior management.
โ€ข Skilled in Microsoft Office Software at an intermediate level.
โ€ข Demonstrated project management skills/experience.

โ€ข Bachelor's degree plus 8 years Operations or Logistics experience reflecting increasing levels of

Compensation
Hiring Salary Range: $103,100 - $128,900
