Location: Georgetown, Massachusetts
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience and skills

ND Landscape Services has provided professional landscape maintenance, landscape construction and snow management services throughout the North Shore and Metro North area since 1980.
We are hiring dependable Landscape Maintenance Laborers to help care for high-quality residential and commercial properties.
This role focuses on property detail work, planting-bed maintenance, seasonal cleanups, pruning, mulching and other important aspects of professional landscape care.
Previous landscape experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train motivated applicants who have a strong work ethic, reliable attendance and an interest in building a career in the landscape industry.
Compensation
  • $19.00-$25.00 per hour
  • Pay based on landscape experience, plant knowledge, equipment skills, driving experience and overall ability
  • Overtime opportunities
  • Winter snow and ice work available

The higher end of the pay range is intended for applicants with professional landscape maintenance experience, plant and pruning knowledge, equipment-operating ability, or experience safely driving trucks and trailers.
What You'll Do
  • Perform spring and fall property cleanups
  • Maintain planting beds at residential and commercial properties
  • Weed and redefine landscape beds
  • Install mulch, soil and other landscape materials
  • Prune shrubs, ornamental plants and small trees
  • Deadhead, cut back and maintain perennials
  • Assist with seasonal flower and plant installations
  • Remove leaves, debris and unwanted plant material
  • Complete detailed property cleanup and presentation work
  • Operate blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning equipment and other professional landscape tools
  • Load and unload tools, equipment, plants and materials
  • Follow daily work orders and crew-leader instructions
  • Maintain clean, safe and organized trucks, trailers and jobsites
  • Work professionally and respectfully while on client properties
  • Assist with snow and ice operations during the winter season

Team members may also have opportunities to learn additional skills, including plant care, irrigation, landscape enhancements and equipment operation.

Preferred Qualifications - Not Required
  • Previous landscape maintenance, gardening or groundskeeping experience
  • Knowledge of shrubs, perennials and basic plant-care practices
  • Experience pruning shrubs and ornamental plants
  • Experience performing seasonal cleanups and planting-bed maintenance
  • Experience using blowers, hedge trimmers and pruning equipment
  • Experience driving a truck and landscape trailer
  • Snowplowing or snow-removal experience
  • Massachusetts Hoisting License or CDL

Applicants with experience in landscaping, gardening, estate care, grounds maintenance, golf course maintenance, farming, property maintenance or other outdoor trades are encouraged to apply.
