This management position oversees all aspects of daily landscape operations, including scheduling, team leadership, and project execution. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in managing crews and landscaping projects, committed to upholding high standards of professionalism and customer service. Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage daily landscape operations, ensuring projects are scheduled and completed efficiently and within budget.
  • Lead, train, evaluate, and supervise landscaping crews, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
  • Coordinate the preparation and deployment of materials and equipment for all projects.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism on all job sites.
  • Ensure all equipment is operable, safe, and ready for use.
  • Assist in developing and implementing company training goals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Report and document any accidents or injuries in accordance with company policies.
  • Support customer service efforts and contribute to estimating and production processes as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing crews and landscaping projects.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurability on company policy.
  • Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) certificate preferred.
  • Proficiency with, or ability to learn, customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to uphold and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Physically able to handle the demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working around environmental risks such as bees, poison ivy, pollen, and thorns.
  • Ability to wear work boots, company uniforms, and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
