Job description

The Opportunity

Western DuPage Landscaping is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Account Manager to lead client relationships, drive enhancement sales, and ensure exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in turf care, horticulture, and landscape maintenance operations, along with an Illinois Pesticide Applicator License.

This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of landscape maintenance accounts, achieving sales and retention goals, identifying enhancement opportunities, supporting snow services, and working closely with production teams to deliver high-quality results.

Success in this role means retaining clients, growing enhancement sales, maintaining quality standards, and helping WDL become the contractor of choice for every property we serve.

 

Core Responsibilities

·         Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts.

·         Build long-term client relationships and maintain high customer satisfaction.

·         Identify, estimate, and sell landscape enhancements and additional services.

·         Conduct regular property inspections and quality control site visits.

·         Prepare proposals, contracts, change orders, and renewals.

·         Collaborate with operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

·         Meet or exceed sales, profitability, and client retention goals.

·         Prospect and develop new maintenance and snow service opportunities.

·         Support the company's snow and ice management program.

·         Uphold WDL's quality, safety, and best practices standards.

Qualifications

·         3+ years of landscape maintenance account management or sales experience.

·         Strong knowledge of turf care, horticulture, and plant identification.

·         Illinois Pesticide Applicator License preferred.

·         Proven ability to grow accounts and generate enhancement sales.

·         Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

·         Experience with commercial snow and ice management is a plus.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office and LMN (or Aspire).

·         Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record.

·         Bilingual Spanish preferred.
