As a Landscape Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing complex projects to life from initial concept through final completion. This is an opportunity to lead high-impact, large-scale commercial developments while working alongside a team that values expertise, accountability, and results. Leveraging your strong field experience and leadership, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality all while fostering trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

· Manage and oversee large-scale landscape construction and site development projects from pre-construction through closeout

· Understand and identify customers’ challenges and develop effective, value-driven solutions

· Build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients, employees, subcontractors, and vendors

· Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency

· Collaborate closely with operations team members, leveraging collective expertise to drive project success

Project Execution & Financial Management

· Ensure all landscape construction services are delivered according to contract specifications, drawings, budget, schedule, and quality standards

· Manage cost reports, analyze budget variances, and implement strategies to control and reduce project costs

· Review labor quantities, production rates, and construction phases for accurate project tracking

· Ensure timely and accurate monthly job billings

· Prepare, submit, and track change orders, ensuring proper documentation and timely client approval

· Deliver accurate and timely reporting on project financials, schedules, and budgets

Client & Stakeholder Management

· Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients throughout the construction process

· Communicate clearly with clients regarding project scope, progress, and any challenges or changes

· Build strong relationships with owners, clients, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors

· Provide clear and easy-to-understand information about company services and project deliverables

Field Operations & Quality Control

· Inspect all field work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and company quality standards

· Analyze field challenges and implement effective solutions

· Manage and coordinate labor forces, foremen, superintendents, and subcontractors

· Maintain accurate daily and weekly production and activity logs

· Oversee dispatching of crews, materials, and equipment to job sites

· Manage equipment utilization, storage, and maintenance across projects

· Promote a team-oriented, results-driven work environment

· Demonstrate high standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism

· Ensure that all construction services are delivered according to contract specifications & drawings, are within budget and on schedule.

Project Controls

· Participate in Monthly/Quarterly Work-in-Progress (WIP) processes

· Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all active projects

· Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements

· Maintain accurate daily and weekly Foremen and Superintendent activity logs, updating production tracking reports and generating other related reports as needed.

· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

Experience & Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field preferred

· 5+ years of experience in landscape construction or construction project management

· Proven experience managing commercial landscape or site development projects

Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of landscape construction including irrigation, planting, grading, drainage, and hardscape

· Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Strong project scheduling, coordination, and organizational skills

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Strong financial acumen and cost management capabilities

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

· Highly driven, disciplined, and results-oriented

· Coachable with a continuous improvement mindset

· Strong project scheduling and coordination skills.

Physical Requirements:

· Standing periodically throughout the day

· Sitting and standing as needed

· Walking as needed in order to meet with clients at various locations
