POSITION SUMMARY

The Kitter is responsible for assembling and organizing finished product coming from CNC and PVC production onto pallets that will be transported to the Distribution Center. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate, on-time shipment of product to the customer.

Hours: M-F, 1:30 P.M.-10:00 P.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retrieve products from inventory based on production orders, ensuring accuracy in item selection and quantity
  • Securely pack items to prevent damage during transit, using appropriate materials and methods
  • Accurately label pallets with customer and job-specific information
  • Inspect items for defects or damage before packing, and ensure that all products meet company quality standards
  • Work closely with production departments and leadership to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

  • High level of attention to detail; able to carefully and thoroughly examine product, labels, and order to ensure accuracy
  • Can prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and complete orders within specified timeframes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or order assembly role is preferred
  • Ability to lift and move product up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and job sheets

The target hourly range is $18.50 - $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs..

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
