What You’ll Do:
Quality Landscaping Tasks:
Planting: Manually plant trees, shrubs, and other plant materials, ensuring proper placement, depth, and spacing.
Soil Prep amp; Turf Care: Prep soil for flower beds, groundcovers, and turf installation, and perform core aeration to improve soil health.
Hardscaping: Construct small retaining walls, create rock/mulch beds, and establish new bed edges.
Mulching: Apply mulch correctly for material, plant, and location.
Pruning: Prune trees and shrubs as directed to maintain health and aesthetics.
Watering: Water plants as directed to ensure proper hydration.
Lot and Ramp Cleaning: Sweep and clean lots and ramps to ensure neat and safe environments.
Reporting Issues: Notify your Crew Lead of any concerns with turf, plants, trees, shrubs, or hardscapes on the property.
Safety Responsibilities:
Safe Equipment Operation: Safely operate pruning tools, chainsaws, edgers, power washers, and other landscape enhancement equipment.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Proper Gear: Wear the appropriate safety gear for each task.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and ensure that safety materials (e.g., first aid kits) are stocked and stored appropriately.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Landscaping Knowledge – Familiar with operational procedures for landscape enhancements, including planting and small hardscape projects.
✔️ Physical Strength – Ability to perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 40 lbs independently and 80 lbs with assistance.
✔️ Good Communication – Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
✔️ Problem-Solving Skills – Able to troubleshoot and operate various equipment types safely.
✔️ Dependable amp; On-Time – Consistently reports to work on time and completes tasks accurately and on schedule.
✔️ Team Player – Works well with others and maintains a positive attitude.
✔️ Safety-Conscious – Commitment to following safety protocols and using appropriate protective gear.

Your Schedule:

Average Workweek: 8-10 hours per day, 5-6 days per week, April through October.
