Landscape Assistants are entry-level workers who help with the installation, maintenance, and care of outdoor spaces such as gardens, parks, and lawns. They typically support landscapers by mowing lawns, planting flowers or shrubs, spreading mulch, and operating basic landscaping equipment. Their work ensures that outdoor areas remain attractive, healthy, and well-kept. Landscape Assistants may also assist with irrigation, trimming, and seasonal clean-up tasks, providing vital support for more experienced landscaping professionals.

You'll often work as part of a team under the supervision of a landscape designer or foreman, and may use a variety of hand tools and small machinery. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow instructions are key, as you'll be expected to help ensure the finished landscape meets client and company standards.
