BAY POINT LANDING - KITCHEN SUPERVISOR
Kitchen Supervisor Summary:
The Kitchen Supervisor position will be the key opening operator for the food truck on property. This position will grow with the implementations of food & beverage offering. The Kitchen Supervisor will be flexible in duties and position to accommodate year-round full time employment and be a key leader in the development and growth of the food & beverage offering.
Primary Duties:
• Reinforce guest experience standards and create delightful experiences.
• Purchasing and procurement of goods related to food & beverage service and operations
• Involved with the hiring, training, and management of additional food service team members as the operation grows
• Ensure all quality standards of the brand are adhered to by all staff
• Operate in adherence to standards set by Oregon Department of Health and all federal, state and local regulations
• Represent the Bay Point Landing brand and adhere to and support all practices, policy and procedure
• Alongside the General Manager, assist in the planning and development of current and future food & beverage operations at Bay Point Landing
• Daily preparation and execution of all food truck menu items to a high level of guest satisfaction
• Troubleshoot operational and guest experience concerns
• Setting and performing regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years of food preparation and/or educational equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year in a foodservice supervisor position
• Must pass and maintain Servesafe Foodservice Manager Certification and OLCC license
• Strong organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage food costs to a budget
• Thrives in a fast paced, collaborative team environment
• Self starter, identify places that the operation can improve and takes initiative to make improvement
