About the Role:
The Land team is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to develop and maintain new systems and implement improvements to existing systems and processes. As an ideal candidate, you will have multiple years of experience developing and maintaining highly performant web applications that will be beneficial in driving the growth of our Land business unit.
This position is located in Austin, TX and offers a schedule of Monday to Thursday in the office and the option to work from home on Friday.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve existing systems
  • Develop and maintain database design and SQL scripts
  • Apply software design patterns, sound quality management methods, tools, and techniques to create and support defect-free application software that meets the needs of the organization with high reusability and maintainability
  • Leverage AI-Assisted development tool to accelerate implementation, refactoring, and test creation, while ensuring correctness, security, and maintainability through strong engineering judgment.
  • Write thorough unit tests to ensure the quality of the software you own

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.
  • 3+ years of development experience in production environment
  • Strong proficiency using C#, .NET Development
  • Deep understanding and experience using SQL
  • Experience with software testing (Unit, Integration, Functional, Performance)
  • String grasp of AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Microsoft CoPilot or similar) to improve developer productivity
  • Experience working within an Agile team environment
  • Understanding and knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns
  • Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas within and across teams
  • Ability to work well with other developers and management

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Visual Studio, SSMS, and Azure DevOps or Git
  • Experience with AWS and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch
  • Experience architecting systems using C#, .NET Development.
