Civil Engineer (Entry- Mid-level) Land Development

Our growth presents an opportunity for Early and Mid-Level Civil Engineers to join our Land Development team. This role focuses on gaining hands-on experience in site development projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, from concept planning through construction documentation.

A successful candidate will have a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering, with an EIT certification preferred or obtainable within one year. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred, along with strong technical, communication, and organizational skills.

The role involves developing civil site designs, performing site layout and grading, designing stormwater management systems, researching permit requirements, preparing construction documents, and conducting earthwork calculations. Title and role will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop civil site designs for land development projects.

  • Assist in site layout and grading to ensure compliance with local zoning requirements.

  • Design stormwater management and erosion control systems.

  • Research permit requirements and local regulations to support project approvals.

  • Prepare construction documents, technical reports, and entitlement documents.

  • Perform earthwork calculations and drainage analysis.

  • Support permit acquisition and modifications during construction.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in civil engineering
