This role is paid on an hourly basis with a range of $33.00 - $44.00 and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The expected approximate annualized compensation range is $70,000 - $90,000.

Summary of the Role

We're in search of a dynamic Civil Engineering Designer who is highly motivated and results driven. Responsibilities

  • Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challenges
  • Preparation of construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documents
  • Coordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit application
  • Preparation of grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Research regulatory requirements and design standards
  • Perform detailed and complex calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
  • Preparation of detailed technical reports and project presentation materials
  • Assist project engineers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets
  • Attend project meetings


Qualifications

  • 1-5+ years of experience in site development design
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with or willingness to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D for site development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • A desire and/or ability to work in teams to accomplish shared goals
  • Self-motivated with the ability and desire to deliver excellent client service
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to identify practical uses for company-approved AI tools to improve team processes, support better decisions, and increase efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to review AI-generated content for accuracy, protect confidential information, and remain responsible for the final work product
