Summary
Primarily TIG welds light gauge stainless steel, but will also be required to work with other materials like cold rolled steel, galvanized steel, aluminum etc. Must be qualified for occasional heavy metal TIG, and some MIG, Plasma cutting, and/or gas welding.

Essential Functions
Maintains accurate count of processed parts
Daily housekeeping in assigned work areas
Completes written log on work done, hours spent, and number of parts produced
Ensures that the parts they process are to specification and meet all known quality requirements before and after they complete their process steps
Report any safety, quality, and waste issues to their immediate supervisor
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Able to follow verbal and written instructions
Good mechanical aptitude
Able to do basic shop math, read blueprints and use measuring tools such as micrometers, gauges, and dial calipers, etc.
Some lifting is required
Knowledge of Lancer Quality Systems preferred


Education and Experience
High School or GED level education is preferred
Equivalent experience in assigned trade/vocation can be substituted for educational minimums
Minimum 3 years' experience setting up, operating and programming press brake, Laser and/or turret punching machines is a plus
Course work in CNC Programming is a plus
