Job Description

MUSC Health - Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a board certified or board eligible Oncology/Hematology physician to help grow a newly established practice in Lancaster, SC. Physicians in this clinical practice will work to coordinate patient care and manage the treatment of cancer diagnoses in collaboration with providers in MUSC's Division of Hematology & Oncology located at Hollings Cancer Center (HCC), in Charleston, SC.

We are seeking a passionate physician who is confident in managing cancer diagnoses following National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines. Our community-based practice uses a streamlined, multidisciplinary approach to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in Lancaster and the surrounding communities. Join a team of driven providers that is dedicated to making transformational cancer treatment more widely available to patients throughout South Carolina.

About the opportunity:

  • Candidates must be BC/BE in Medical Oncology/Hematology

  • One location - MUSC Health - Lancaster Medical Center

  • Brand new oncology clinic within infusion suite

  • Call coverage through network of MUSC physicians

  • Epic EMR

  • On-site Lab and Pharmacy

  • Supportive leadership and collegial medical staff

  • Community-based practice with collaboration from MUSC

  • Service area population of approx. 100,000

  • Opportunity to establish local clinical trial offerings in collaboration with Hollings Cancer Center
