Network Engineer
Full-Time Onsite - Quantico, VA
➡️ Anticipated relocation to Huntsville, AL in December 2027
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support complex LAN/WAN environments within a mission-focused operational setting. This role is responsible for the planning, design, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure supporting critical operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco-based networking environments, routing protocols, VPN technologies, and network security devices in secure enterprise environments.
  • Analyze, design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN network environments
  • Support routers, switches, gateways, firewalls, encryption devices, and communication systems
  • Troubleshoot interoperability and connectivity issues across multiple platforms and systems
  • Configure systems based on operational and user requirements
  • Perform testing, validation, documentation, and technical analysis
  • Provide network administration, technical support, and troubleshooting assistance
  • Support network layout and infrastructure design efforts
  • Assist with network security administration and system optimization
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and technical documentation
  • May serve as a technical lead or team lead depending on assignment

Required Skills and Education
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN communications and network infrastructure
  • Experience with Juniper, Cisco routers, Ethernet switches, bridges, gateways, and firewalls
