Job description

Titan Technologies, LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced, self-directed, Network Administrator to support the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) III contract. As a member of our team, you will help to assist USSOCOM, Service Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC), and deployed forces in the delivery of a full spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services to operate and maintain information flow, communications, and connectivity globally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the LAN and WAN equipment and circuits utilizing Riverbed Event Manager.
  • Performs initial triage and resolves or escalates technical problems for established networks.
  • Serves as the technical specialist in network problems and emergencies; assists in troubleshooting and resolution of network production problems.
  • Maintains network operations, expansion, and potential abuse through enterprise network intrusion detection system, firewalls, and VPN devices.
  • Works with the Systems Engineer in network design analysis and configuration validation.
  • Maintains documentation, which may include CMDB information, as-built drawings, circuit inventory, equipment inventory, configurations, and training materials.
  • Performs project work as assigned by the Senior Team members.
  • Accurately documents instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
  • Administers the operation of all LAN/WAN-related network services according to Government policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates and implements network software and hardware upgrades.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves LAN/WAN performance, connectivity, and related network problems.
  • Administers LAN/WAN security, antivirus, and spam control measures.
  • Uses a variety of tools to monitor and troubleshoot the network.
  • Creates monitoring reports and logs and ensures the functionality of links.
  • Documents and maintains network topologies.
  • Resolves ticket requests, works to resolve incidents, and escalates to the Engineering team when required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience as a LAN/WAN Network Administrator.
  • A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Information Assurance Technical Level II Certification required- DoDD 01-M IAT II - Sec Plus cert.
  • CCNA required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four years of complex and progressive experience in implementing, administering, performing testing, and analyzing network.
  • Experience in client facing support. 

Education:

  • High School Diploma with 6 years of experience OR AA + 4 yrs of experience OR BS + 2 years of experience OR MS + 0 years of experience
