Job description

Join the BBB SD II Service Center Team

BBB SD II is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Lamborghini & McLaren Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. We are looking for an honest, dependable professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service. If you have experience working on luxury or exotic vehicles and are committed to excellence, we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance efficiently and accurately according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using advanced diagnostic equipment.
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain required parts.
  • Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or safety concerns and communicate recommendations to the Service Advisor.
  • Document all repairs, diagnostics, and recommendations on repair orders.
  • Complete repairs within established timelines and communicate any delays promptly.
  • Save and tag warranty parts when required.
  • Road test vehicles as needed to verify repairs.
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training and stay current on technical bulletins and repair procedures.
  • Assist in mentoring apprentice technicians as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Properly care for dealership tools, equipment, manuals, and customer vehicles.
  • Comply with all federal, state, local, OSHA, and hazardous waste regulations.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately.
  • Support Master Technicians and the Shop Foreman as needed.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional automotive technician experience
  • Automotive certification required
  • Experience working on Lamborghini, McLaren, or other exotic/high-line luxury vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred:

  • Associate degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent education and experience
  • Lamborghini or McLaren dealership experience
  • Factory certifications are a plus
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and move throughout the service department for the majority of the workday.
  • Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and computer systems while performing repairs.
  • Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.


Work Environment
  • Work is performed in a dealership service department.
  • Must be able to work safely around vehicles, automotive equipment, tools, shop noise, and other service department conditions while following all established safety procedures.
Pay


$40.00–$48.00 per hour to start, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
