Responsibilities
  • Support development of test programs in an accurate and efficient manner.  Design, develop, and maintain quality test programs as a member of the software team.  Utilizing best practice in functional decomposition based in software engineering.
  • Collaborate with customer, manufacturer, and engineering team to clarify procedures, test configurations and accomplish on-site installations (including travel)
  • Support development of new applications and test tools.  Evaluate new technologies for implementation.  Conduct research that tests and analyzes feasibility, design, operation, and performances of systems
  • Document and develop test domain knowledge for the organization.  Add and improve on testing knowledge to continue expertise in areas of: jet engines, wind tunnels, and other data acquisition and control systems. 
  • Effectively time manage and communicate resource usage to ensure projects stay within schedule and on budget.  Maintain records of tools, time, and other work-related efforts during installation for all customer projects.
Qualifications

Preferred Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in computer programming or similar industry or;
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

  • Experience with C++, Java, Labview, python or similar programming languages
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and/or mechanical drawings
  • Ability or experience with electro-mechanical systems
  • Experience with logic controllers or similar programmable computer devices / resources
  • Experience in structural programming, controls, data acquisition, and/or jet engine testing preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid Passport
  • US Person
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
