JOB TITLE: Test Engineer
LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX
PAY RATE: $92.07/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Summary: 

  • Performs detailed hardware and software design, updates, and integration or verification support for new and existing test sets used in testing PAC-3 and MSE missile subsystems.

  • Designs test equipment, interface test adapters (ITA), and cables for electronics testing applications.

  • Creates flow charts, block diagrams, schematics, and interface control documents for test systems.

  • Writes test requirements, test description documents, operating instructions, and installation procedures.

  • Supports Peer Reviews, Design Assurance Reviews, and Pre or Post Verification Readiness Reviews.

  • Troubleshoots analog and digital electronics using oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMM, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and AC or DC power distribution systems.

  • Develops test software and performs software debugging in support of troubleshooting activities.

  • Uses LabVIEW and TestStand for test system development and execution.

  • Applies Root Cause and Corrective Action methodologies for issue resolution.

  • Uses Microsoft VISIO, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Active Interim Security Clearance is required to start.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related degree.

  • Skills in troubleshooting analog and digital electronics.

  • Test equipment hardware experience including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMM, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and AC or DC power distribution systems.

  • Test Equipment Interface Test Adapter (ITA) and cable design experience.

  • LabVIEW and TestStand experience.

  • Familiarity with test software design and proficiency with software debugging.

  • Skilled in Root Cause and Corrective Action.

  • Hardware and software configuration management process knowledge.
