Job description

  • Support the product line within the Airborne RF Electronics Department
  • Work as a member of a team supporting a production program under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in McKinney and/or Plano, Texas
  • Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels, including analog, digital, power circuitry and interfaces
  • Troubleshoot test sets down to component level, including analog, digital, radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces
  • Analyze product test data using MATLAB software tools to verify test specifications are met
  • Generate and update documents, drawings, designs, and specifications
  • Conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to address systemic issues and prevent recurrence
Requirements
  • Must be pursuing Bachelorโ€™s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
  • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session
  • Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
  • Experience with Manufacturing Engineering
  • Knowledge of LabVIEW, LUA, C, MATLAB, Python programming languages
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Active and existing DoD Top Secret security clearance required after day 1

Demonstrates expertise in troubleshooting hardware and process issues at the circuit card assembly level, utilizing MATLAB for data analysis and possessing strong communication skills for effective reporting and presentations.
